This fortified muscat was named in honour of Angela, the loving matriarch of the Fiumara family. Made predominantly from 36 year old fortified Muscat of Alexandria, this wine encapsulates the history of Lillypilly Estate Winery. Rich and smooth with luscious notes of fruitcake and spice.
Halliday Wine Companion 2023 (Score 96)
A solera, resplendent with a motherlode of very old base wine hailing from 1986. The result is nothing short of exceptional. The olive rim to the hue and the pine, grape, spice, roasted walnut and varnish rancio complexities do not betray class. Here, delivered in spades. A lilt of volatility only adds to the equation.
